The MOT Club Compliance Audit Service
The MOT Club prides itself on offering physical MOT site compliance checks anywhere in mainland UK, with a team of experienced MOT experts we can visit your MOT testing centre and carry out a detailed and comprehensive review of your MOT testing facilities, procedures, equipment and staff.
As a member of The MOT Club, you will receive an annual MOT testing centre compliance check, but most of our customers opt for more. One of our MOT experts will carry out the check, spending several hours at your premises. Your MOT testing facilities will be thoroughly checked, ensuring that everything meets DVSA standards. The annual compliance check is one of the most important services we offer, with the DVSA looking positively on MOT testing centres that use third parties to audit their MOT testing procedures and facilities.
While on site we will carry out our 40-point inspection, checking everything from MOT test logs to calibration certificates. Our site checks go beyond those of the DVSA inspection process, so you can be confident that no stone is left unturned.
Once we have inspected the MOT test centre we will discuss and explain our findings with the site manager and any other staff that is appropriate and put in a robust quality system to prevent any lapse in MOT compliance in the future. The full report is recorded digitally on the web portal* and is available to management who can view and action the report online at any time, a record made on who actioned the report and when it was signed off.
While on site we even conduct a full QC on an MOT tester of your choice and counts towards the DVSA minimum requirements of a tester QC every 1-2 months, this alone can save your Site Manager/QC over an hour of his or her time. By following the guidance and procedures we set out will drastically help reduce any enforcement from DVSA and can lead to an improved risk rating. DVSA want to see clear and concise quality management procedures in place in order to demonstrate compliance with the MOT scheme and ultimately ensure good quality and thorough MOT testing.
